Chronicles of Khaldun: Isle of Anhak
Sajavedra, between Anhak and Pūrabī, is considered a place best avoided. The land of Sajavedra proper has been engulfed in a reality-bending war between two archmagi for many years — or so the tales say, anyway — and has rendered the land mostly inhospitable.
Demon-haunted Qelong, on the western portion of the isle, is isolated from the brunt of the conflict by the mountains to the east. However, within the past few decades, the madness of the rest of Sajavedra appears to have come to Qelong, as those who have traveled there speak of it as a dangerous and mad place, torn by war. Merchants still travel there, but most give it a wide berth.
Of course, the chaos provides ample opportunity to for any profiteers or treasure-seekers who wish to seek glory and gold in Qelong. If any are interested, the port city of Qampong is the only access to the Qelong river valley these days.
